Did I just read someone's mind simply from eye contact.

Have you ever had that sense that you knew someone with out ever really meeting?

Exactly! My spidey senses was on 10 the other day during a grocery trip.  I was walking down the aisle trying to find my favorite organic, gluten free, free trade, vegan cereal  "Frosted Flakes"  While almost running into the employee who was stocking items.  While almost taking his life via shopping cart our eyes connected and I paused for a minute and ask him "how is your day going?" he replied "good" then I asked "how is your day REALLY going?" before he let out his response I could tell he had something heavy on his heart. He shared with me the hardships he was going through with his family.

I felt that there was something deeper going on than me almost running him over. I was able to see it or more so, respond to someone who is hurting while putting on a brave face.  I could feel the energy and sense I needed to do more.

How many times do we make eye contact with people and have that fear in us to response with a hello or good morning. Are we missing out on changing a life daily?

I'm encourage to have human interactions and be present in the moment when doing daily task. One example I hope to try, is to not be on my phone while grocery shopping but to enjoy the journey like I'm shopping for new clothes or a car. I will smile and say hello for every piece of fruit I grab or veggie I pick up.

Will you change a shopping behavior? O have you had this happen to you in some form?
